The Invite Check Page is a powerful tool used to separate invited guests from non-invited guests in your sign-in flow. Whether you'd like to send an email alert to security when an uninvited guest signs-in, prevent a badge from being printed, or halt your normal sign-in process altogether, the Invite Check Page is a one-step tool that acts as your virtual gatekeeper.

The Invite Check Page page references your list of Invitees from a location to determine who is sent down the Invited and Non-Invited paths. Click HERE to learn more about Invites.

Using the Invite Check Page

You can add the Invite Check Page into your flow like you would add any other page in the Kiosk Experience Editor. Look for the Invite Check Page near the bottom of the page menu and click Add.

It is mandatory to add the Invite Check Page somewhere after the guest's email has already been collected, either through an About You Page, Form Page, or Summary Page. This is because the unique identifier for an invitee is their email address, which is referenced to determine if the guest has a valid invite for their time window.

It will then branch off two options for you: No Invite and Invite.

Just like a Choice Page, you are now able to customize each individual path to your requirements. A key difference is that the guest will not be able to choose the path they go down. This happens entirely in the background, using their email address as a reference.

Example Use Cases

Stop a Badge from Printing for Non-invited Guests

Since the badge is triggered from the end Thank You Page, all you need to do is uncheck the Print Badge button at the end of your No Invite path. Additionally, you could write instructions in the Title and Message fields of the Thank You Page telling your guest to see the receptionist.

Send a custom alert to specific individuals

This method uses the Notify Action to send an email or SMS message to your specified recipients whenever anyone completes a sign-in through the No Invite path. Add the Notify Action anywhere within the No Invite Path starts choose your notification type and recipients. The notification will be sent at the end of the sign-in. Click HERE to learn more about the Notify Action.

If you would like to send them an email, you must first create a template from the Email Template Editor. Click HERE to learn more about the Email Template Editor.
