Sign In Enterprise's Choice Page allows you to ask your guest a question and give them a unique experience on the iPad depending on their answer.
After a guest picks an answer in the Choice page, they are lead down a unique sign-in flow of your design. For more information on building an experience, check out our knowledge article HERE.
The sections covered below include:
Choice Page Settings
Simply choose the Choice Page from the Experience Editor's page menu when adding it to your sign-in flow.
Title: The question at the top of the page that is posed to your guest (eg. What brings you here today? or Are you a US citizen?)
Choice Text: The list of answers that your guest can choose from. You must have at least two choices for your guest to choose between (eg. If the question is "What brings you here today?" your choices may include "Business", "Delivery", and "Personal")
Add Choice: Allows you to add additional options for your guest. You can add up to sixteen choices.
Delete Choice: Delete any of your choices. If you've created a sign-in path after a deleted choice, the entire path will be deleted as well.
Up/Down Arrows
: Change the positioning of the choices on the kiosk.
Data Name: Allows the auto-routing and skipping of the Choice Page for data already collected for the visitor (Specifically using Custom Invite Fields)
Choice Page Image Options
In addition to text-based choices, you can upload small image files or choose between our list of pre-loaded icons that will be displayed alongside your text.
Upload Image: Upload an image file from your computer that can appear in one of your choice buttons.
Enable Image: Toggle on/off the image that you've uploaded for a choice button.
Display Text in Choice: Toggle on/off your written choice text. Allows you to choose whether your uploaded image is displayed alongside text or on its own.
Icon Selection: List of icons that can be displayed to the right of a choice text.
This can be great for multilingual use cases as it allows you to show a flag alongside a language choice. For detailed instructions on creating language paths, check out THIS article.
Or, if you are a building manager with multiple companies, each company's logo can be displayed to make it easy for your guests to choose the right company.
Choice Page Data Name
The Choice Page's Data Name is an indicator for your Choice Page that can be used as reference throughout the SIE platform, such as for Advanced Triggers or 3rd party API reporting.
As well, it allows you to skip the Choice Page on the kiosk based on a custom invite field pre-populated by a host/user. Due to the fact that most invite/pre-registration QR code scenarios bypass the Kiosk Portal anyway, the scenario in which this can occur is a niche use-case that has these requirements:
Host/Employee has a need to fill out a custom invite field when creating an invite.
Visitor is required to fill out questions on the kiosk portal, rather than scanning a pre-registration QR code touchlessly to sign-in.
For more information on custom invite fields, click HERE.
For example, let's say your company requires an employee to indicate that a visitor is a US Person or Foreign National when creating an invite.
Then, your visitor is required to answer questions, sign a document, or take a photo only when they arrive onsite, depending on their citizenship status. In this case, a visitor cannot be sent a pre-registration QR code which lets them skips the sign-in process on the iPad. Rather, an employee must start the process and the visitor then must finish it when they arrive. The setup would look like this:
1. Host invites a guest and indicates that they're a US Citizen or Foreign National.
2. Visitor is notified of their upcoming invite. No Registration QR code is sent.
3. Visitor arrives and signs-in with the same email address used in the invite.
4. Visitor completes the sign-in, with the US Citizen/Foreign National question skipping on the iPad and sending them down the right path.
This allows you to route visitors down their proper paths without giving them the option to choose it themselves upon arrival.
As a prerequisite, the kiosk requires a page that calls back to our server in realtime. That is, an Invite Check Page, Watchlist Check Page, or Summary Page. We recommend using an Invite Check Page because of the Choice Page Data Name's reliance on custom invite fields anyway.
