In addition to Traction Guest’s login website, users are able to view and create visitor sign-in/invite records through the Traction Guest Mobile App. Additionally, our frontline offerings include the ability to track your visitors against a set location capacity as well as scan deliveries directly through the app. It is available on both iOS and Android devices.
This knowledge article will walk through the app's ability to track and create Sign-Ins and Invites, alongside creating default app settings.

Installing the app and logging in
The app can be found by searching Traction Guest Mobile in your device’s app store. After opening the app, you will then be prompted to enter your Traction Guest email.
A window will pop up, informing you that “Traction Guest Wants to Use “tractionguest.com to Sign In." Click Continue.
You will then be prompted to enter your password to complete the log-in.
Navigating Through the App's Features
After successfully signing-in, you will be greeted by the Sign-Ins page. At the bottom of your screen, you will be able to select between the app's different pages. These include:
Guestbook (View sign-ins and invited guests)
Capacity (Track guests against a set capacity limit)
New (Create a new sign-in, invite, or delivery)
Deliveries (View your scanned deliveries)
Settings (Edit app settings and view watchlist entries)
Guestbook
The Guestbook section is where can view sign-ins, invited guests, and access the roll call list which shows current sign-ins for your location(s). Simply tap one of SIGN-INS, INVITES, or ROLL CALL listed at the top of your screen.
Sign-ins
The SIGN-INS section allows you to view existing sign-ins as well as search specific sign-ins by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner.
Creating New Sign-ins
New sign-ins can be created by clicking the ‘New’ icon at the bottom of your screen and tapping SIGN IN.
If your visitor already has a registration QR code, you can create a sign-in by scanning the QR icon at the top of the New Sign-in screen. Otherwise, you can manually enter your visitor's sign-in details such as location, name, email, company, and host(s).
Additionally, you can send the host an email/sms notification to alert them of their visitor's arrival. You can also choose to send your visitor an email notification after their sign-in is complete. Default email templates can be selected from the Settings section of the app.
You can click on the Triangle Icon in the top-right corner of the sign-ins page to filter existing sign-ins. You can filter by Location, Date Range, and Watchlist level. Additionally, you can toggle ‘Show signed in guests only’ to filter your guestbook by current sign-ins. This is similar to the roll-call view that is accessed by the Guestbook in the admin website. Make sure to click ‘Apply’ after your selections are made.
Viewing Individual Sign-in Records
To view more details about a specific visitor, click on their sign-in record to pull up full details of their sign-in. This includes both General contact data as well as custom information captured on the iPad.
Additionally, if there is a host associated with that sign-in record. you can click on the host’s name to directly call/email the host from your phone.
You will also see two buttons near the middle of your screen:
Sign-Out: You can manually sign-out a guest
Contact: You can directly call/email a guest if they’ve provided their contact details.
As a quick option, you can sign-out or contact a guest directly from the main SIGN-INS window by swiping right on their visitor record.
Invites
The Invites section allows you to view/create existing invites as well as search specific invites by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner.
Creating New Invites
To create a new Invite record, click on the ‘New’ icon in the center-bottom section of the screen and tapping INVITE. Mandatory invite fields include first name, last name, email, location, and start date/time.

You can also filter your list of invites by tapping the triangle Icon in the top-right corner. You can filter by Location, Date Range, and Watchlist level. Make sure to click ‘Apply’ after your selections are made.
Editing Existing Invite Records
You can edit an existing invite by tapping on a specific invite record and editing the details in the ‘Edit Invite’ window that pops up. Make sure to hit SAVE once your changes are complete.
As a quick option, you can sign-out or contact a guest directly from the main INVITES window by swiping right on their visitor record.
Roll Call
The Roll Call view shows only currently signed-in guests for your selected location. It can be accessed by tapping the Roll Call button from the Guestbook.
It allows you to mark guests as accounted for by tapping the checkbox next to a visitor's name.
Create Default Location and Email Settings
The Settings page allows you to choose default settings such as:
Location (Default location for created invites/sign-ins)
Invite Email Template (Email that gets sent to a visitor once their Invite record has been created)
Guest Email Template (Email that gets sent to a visitor after they have been manually signed in)
Host Email Template (Email that gets sent to a host after a a visitor has been manually signed in)
Theme (Light Mode/Dark Mode settings for the look of the Mobile App)
Additionally, the settings section allows you to view your account's existing watchlist entries. Simply tap the 'Watchlist Entries' button to view your list. You can then search for a specific record by clicking the magnifying glass in the top right corner. Additionally, you can filter existing watchlist records by colour by clicking the triangle icon in the top right corner as well. Make sure to hit ‘APPLY’ after you make your filter choices.
Finally, the settings section allows you to view your app version, help and privacy documents, and log out of your account.
