Thank you for your patience — we’re excited to share a set of updates that reflect months of hard work and meaningful progress up to July 2025.
Over the past months, our focus has been on strengthening core systems, improving security, and simplifying user workflows. From the new Synchronisation Engine and extended synchronisation window, to enhanced Outlook Add-in capabilities and a refreshed booking experience, each update reflects our commitment to delivering reliability, flexibility, and ease of use.
Synchronisation Engine
With our new Sign In Solutions Calendar Synchronisation Engine, you’ll experience greater performance, accuracy, and robustness. Built on the Microsoft Graph API (replacing Exchange Web Services in 2026), it ensures secure, unified access to Microsoft 365 data. We’re continuing to invest in improvements so that reliability and seamless integration keep getting better — always anchored by our three core principles of performance, accuracy, and robustness.
180 Days
You told us more visibility matters — so we’ve doubled the synchronisation window from 90 to 180 days. This change allows users to access and manage a greater amount of calendar data within the system, providing greater visibility into future bookings and events.
Outlook Add-in Nested Authentication
Nested Authentication replaces Legacy Exchange Tokens in Office Add-ins, providing a more secure, layered model that reduces attack surfaces and supports modern authentication standards. The transition strengthens security, simplifies integrations, and improves overall reliability and efficiency for developers and users alike.
Outlook Add-in support for Non-Exchange meetings
We have introduced support in the Outlook Add-in for non-Exchange meetings, expanding its flexibility beyond traditional Exchange-based scheduling.
This update allows users to book non-exchange meeting rooms within Outlook, reducing friction and improving workflow.
New Booking Experience
Support for multi time zone booking
Booking across time zones is no longer a hassle — you can now coordinate easily in one UI. This makes it easier to coordinate meetings across different regions and timezones in one UI.
Support for limited manager mode functionality
A streamlined manager mode has been introduced, giving managers the ability to oversee and manage key aspects of bookings.
Intercom
The Intercom widget provides users with a direct, convenient way to get help and engage with support teams without leaving the Meetings application. It enables real-time chat for quick issue resolution, while also offering access to a searchable knowledge base for self-service answers.
Updated Email Authentication
In line with Microsoft’s security updates, we’ve removed legacy SMTP settings that depended on Basic Authentication. This change future-proofs your environment and aligns with modern email standards.
These updates are just the start — we’re continuing to listen and invest in features that make your experience smoother, safer, and more productive. And there’s more to come: each month we’ll share a roundup of product updates right here, so you can look forward to regular highlights of what’s new & improved.
