!! This guide is only relevant for customers running Pronestor Cloud with Graph API towards their Exchange Online

!! The room resource on Exchange must ONLY have one email address set, and no multiple aliases associated with the mailbox for the room resource

Steps for changing email address and re-linking Planner with the new email for a room resource:

  • On Exchange Online - set the new email address and name for the room resource

  • If changes are done on an on-premise AD, which is then published to Exchange Online, please allow time for this to be propagated before continuing

  • Please perform this action when activity on the system is slim to none to avoid conflicts that could happen in the time gap until the new email address is discoverable in Exchange Online

  • Within Planner

  • Go to Administration->Integrations->Calendar Synchronization

    • Click the "pencil" to edit the room that is to be relinked, and set the new email address

  • Go to Administration->Resources

    • Locate the room, and change the name of the resource
