With COVID vaccines having emerged in response to the pandemic, many employers and businesses have opted to require that employees and visitors provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before they are allowed to enter the facility. Much like a daily health questionnaire has become a staple in the “back to work” process, vaccinations are quickly becoming the same.
The Vaccination Check Page allows you to check if a person is vaccinated against COVID-19 by scanning their digital or printed SMART Health Card. Data is not stored in Traction Guest.
Simply choose the Vaccination Check Page from the experience editor's page menu when adding it to your sign-in flow. To learn more about using the Experience Editor, click HERE.

The sections covered below include:
1. Title, Description, Scan Start Button, Scan Instructions: This controls all the text that is displayed on the iPad when the visitor sees the Vaccination Check Page on the iPad.
2. Show Skip Button: This allows visitors to skip their vaccine scan. If this is enabled, a new sign-in path will appear off the vaccination check page that you can edit as you see fit.
3. Identification Check: This setting can only be enabled if you have a Scanner Page prior in the sign-in flow that collects your visitor’s full name and Date of Birth. If the Scanner Page data does not match-up to the data collected on the Smart Health Card, the visitor will be sent down the Vaccination Fail Path. Check out THIS article for more details on the Scanner Page.
4. Vaccinations Check: View the ‘vaccine manufacturer criteria’ and optionally allow AstraZeneca and/or booster doses.
NOTE: If you do require booster doses, your guests should have their most up to date vaccination card. It’s common for individuals to have a “stale” vaccine card obtained prior to receiving a booster, which would then fail the policy.
5.Vaccination pass/fail branches: Configure the individual sign-in flows that a visitor goes down whether they pass or fail their check.
