Within Visitor Management, an admin can manually assign a visitor to an internal watchlist, which you can learn more about HERE.

Additionally, there is also the ability to integrate with external watchlist databases. So if a visitor signs in and is known by a government agency to be a risk, you can make sure the right people in your organization are being notified.

Visitor Management currently integrates with these external watchlists:

When you are activating the integration, you will be able to choose from one of the 4 colored watchlist groups.
This will determine which group will receive the notification when a flagged visitor signs in.
Learn how to set up these groups HERE.

Setting up the free International Trade Administration integration:

To activate this integration, you will need to sign up for an API key on the International Trade Administration. website https://developer.trade.gov/. Follow steps 1-3 under the Subscribing to an API section here: https://developer.trade.gov/#P3npv

Once successful, you will be brought to a page similar to the screenshot below. Click Show next to the Primary Key row. Then, copy the Primary Key that shows.

Now that you have your API key, click on the ITA module in Traction Guest. Enter your copied key and choose which watchlist color will receive the notifications.

Setting up the Visual Compliance integration

In addition to the free Trade.gov watch list, you can now connect your Visual Compliance account to Visitorm Management to flag visitors who turn up on over 50 watch lists for reasons including export violations, international sanctions, law enforcement, and international wanted lists. Full details of the Visual Compliance database can be found on their website.

In order to activate this integration, you will need to be subscribed to a Visual Compliance account, which you can learn more about at: https://www.visualcompliance.com/

Once you have your VC account active, just click on the Visual Compliance Module, enter your information, and choose which watchlist color to receive the notifications.

Setting up the FinScan Integration

This watchlist integration allows you to screen visitors against anti-money laundering (AML) maintained by Finscan.

Setting up Integration Point

This integration allows you to screen visitors against restricted entities lists maintained by Integration Point.

Our Risk Insights watchlist integration uses Thomson Reuters' CLEAR Risk Inform screening tool to check visitors against a comprehensive list of potential offenses. These screenings will automatically take place after a visitor’s first name, last name, and date of birth are collected during one of these three events in the Visitor Management Process:

  • A visitor signs-in using the Kiosk experience.

  • A visitor completes the registration portal.

  • A user fills out their visitor’s name and date of birth when creating an invite within the admin portal.

Each visitor is checked against dozens of crimes, spanning across multiple categories. If they meet your chosen threshold of crimes committed, you can assign a watchlist color depending on if they exceed or are below that threshold. For full setup instructions, check out our Risk Insights article HERE.
