The SIE Kiosk App (Formerly Traction Guest) will work with almost any iPad mount. You'll also want to want to make sure the mount you choose also charges your iPad.

To help you decide what mount works best for you, here are a few questions to ask:

If your iPad is displayed in a public space, you may want to make sure that nobody can just walk off with it.
However, if your lobby is already in a secured building, you can be more creative with how things are displayed

Taking photos of visitors can be good so that your hosts know who they are picking up, the visitor can have their photo on their badge, and you get to have a visual reminder of who they are in your Guestbook.

Think about the height and angle of the camera. Portrait photos are best taken when the camera is near the same height as the visitor's face and there is not a window or light directly behind them.

People do not like to take photos when they have to look down at the camera. (It's not flattering!)

If you want to have proof that someone is who they say they are, you may want them to take a picture of their driver's license or passport. Additionally, our Scanner Page allows you to scan the barcode of a driver's license or passport using the rear camera.

To do this, ensure the stand you are using allows the rear camera to see out and that there is space for the visitor to place their ID behind the iPad.

While most sign ins will be quick, you can also use the Kiosk for more in-depth experiences. You may want to allow the visitor to sit down while they use the iPad.
