How do I set up the SCIM Integration for Azure AD?

This knowledge article describes how you can use SCIM to provision users from Azure AD into Visitor Management (Formerly Sign In Enterprise) as hosts. This integration gives you a method to synchronize your hosts and host groups without using a CSV or powershell. To view our main SCIM article, click HERE.

Note: Hosts provisioned to Visitor Management through SCIM cannot be edited. They are read-only.

  1. Log into your Microsoft Azure Admin Portal

  2. Select Enterprise Application from the left hand menu

  3. Select New Application

  4. Select Non-Gallery Application

  5. Input a name for this integration - e.g. Visitor Management SCIM

  1. From within your new application, select Provisioning

  2. From the main window, select Get Started

  3. Follow these provisioning settings:

    1. Provisioning Mode: Automatic

    2. Tenant URL: see instructions below

    3. Secret Token: see instructions below

  4. Confirm your connection by selecting Test Connection

  5. Click Save

  1. Log into your Visitor Management web account

  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner

  3. Select Preferences

  4. Scroll down to SCIM Host Provisioning

  5. Here you will find your Tenant URL & Token

  6. Copy the information from Visitor Management into the provisioning settings in Azure AD

  1. From within your new application, select Provisioning

  2. Click Edit Provisioning

  3. Expand the Mappings section

  4. Select Azure Active Directory Users

  5. Using the mappings shown in the above article, configure all mappings that apply to your environment. You can remove any mappings that are not mentioned in the above article.

  1. From within your new application, select Users and Groups

  2. Select Add Users

  3. Add all users and groups that apply to your organization

  1. From within your new application, select Provisioning

  2. Click Start Provisioning


This will queue the job with Azure AD. This may take a number of minutes to complete depending on the number of users/groups included. If successful, users and groups will automatically appear in Visitor Management.
