Every sign in that happens on the iPad ends at a Thank You page.
As soon as a visitor lands on a Thank You page, notifications are sent, a badge is printed, and data is stored.

The Thank You page also provides a good opportunity to let your visitor know what to expect next.
Common examples of what people like to see on the Thank You page:

  • Thank you for signing in. Your name badge has now been printed.

  • Please take a seat, #hosts# has been notified and is own their way.

  • Welcome #firstname#!

What you choose to have the Thank You page display is totally up to you.
But depending on how much information you display, the default 7 seconds may not be an accurate length of time before the Welcome Page appears again.

You can adjust how many seconds the Thank You page will stay before right on each individual Thank You page in the Experience Editor.

Note: Most theme templates provide a "Done" button that a visitor can press to go back to the Welcome Page with the exception of the "Lightning" template.
The Lightning template allows a visitor to upload an entirely different background for the Thank You Page and also supports HTML in the "Message" field on the Thank You page.
