Guided Access is a built-in iPad feature that can can lock the iPad's screen to one app. To enable Guided Access:
Find and tap Settings App on your iPad's home screen.
2. In the left navigation bar, tap Accessibility > Guided Access.
3. Toggle on the Guided Access setting.
You can also set the Guided Access passcode and time limits from this screen. Additionally, there is an optional Display Auto-Lock feature at the bottom of the Guided Access menu. We recommend setting this to Never to prevent the iPad from going to sleep while in Guided Access mode.
Note: If you forget your passcode, you will need to reset your entire iPad to get out of Guided Access.
Now that you have Guided Access turned on, you must enable it within the Kiosk App:
Open the SIE Kiosk App
Triple tap the iPad's home button to activate Guided Access
Tap Options in the bottom-left corner. We recommend only enabling Software Keyboards and Touch.
Tap Start/Resume in the top-right corner.
To deactivate Guided Access, triple tap the home button again. This will then prompt you to enter the passcode. Once disabled you can access the whole iPad again, or reactivate it by triple tapping the home button again.
