To obtain a more stable internet connection, it can be beneficial to hard wire your iPad using an Ethernet cable. However, due to the iPad's single lightning port, if you'd like to charge the iPad at the same time, it'll require a few different cables and adapters.

You will need:
Lightning to USB Camera Adapter
Apple 12W USB Power Adapter with lightning Cable
USB Ethernet Adapter
Ethernet Cable

Note: We don't explicitly recommend specific hardware surrounding this topic, but a safe rule of thumb is to go through a 1st-party vendor for hardware.

Setup
1. The Lightning to USB Camera Adapter plugs into the lightning port of the iPad
2. Using the lightning port on the Camera adapter, connect a lightning cable to a 12W USB adapter (a lower Watt adapter will not work) and plug that into an outlet for power.
3. Connect the USB Ethernet Adapter into the USB Port of the Camera Adapter
4. Plug the Ethernet cable into the other end of the adapter and into an Ethernet port.
