How to configure the Wi-Fi proxy settings

If the Wi-Fi network uses a proxy, this will need to be manually configured within the iPad Wi-Fi settings, as shown below.

How to manually configure the proxy network settings?

To access the 'Configure Proxy' network, navigate to the iPad or Android tablet 'Settings' app.

Tap on 'Wi-Fi' and tap on the 'Information' or Gear icon to the right of the Wi-Fi network the device is currently connected to.

Tap on the 'Configuring Proxy' button if using an iPad; if using an Android tablet, tap on 'Proxy'.

Select 'Manual', enter the details as shown below, and input the server and port number.
