There are several reasons why you might want to delete a user from Compliance -- termination, retirement, incorrectly entered, or a long-term change in clearance status.

Before fully deleting the user, they must first be deactivated. The steps are as follows:

  1. Click on People on the left navigation bar. Find the person that you want to deactivate by browsing to their name or searching for them by last or first name.

  2. Hover your mouse over the user's name and click the dropdown arrow that appears to the right. Select Deactivate.

    OR

Click the checkbox to the left of a user's name, then click the Deactivate button at the top of the table (You can still reactivate them if you are not ready to fully delete them from your account).

3. After the user's been deactivated, click their name to open their person record. Click Delete User on the right-hand side.

After you have deleted a user, Compliance retains their data for a period of 60 days unless you specify otherwise.
