Inconsistency in the formatting of DISS subject reports has created problems for Compliance users attempting to import Access and Eligibility information into the application. As of April 17th, 2025, changes were made to the column headers and data structure of the subject report.

Troubleshooting

If you are still having trouble importing DISS subject report data into Compliance:

  • Make sure the subjects you are importing from DISS have a valid social security number associated with their Compliance profile. Compliance uses Social Security number to match data from DISS with the proper Compliance record. Other values such as names cannot be used to import data as they cannot be relied upon to accurately identify a single person - i.e. "Michael Smith"

  • Make sure your file is a valid CSV file with a "comma" separator. .xls or .xlsx files cannot be imported.

  • Make sure the headers in your DISS record match those in our Sample DISS Formatting file below.

  • Duplicate SSNs will prevent a successful import. If using MS Excel, you can use their Find and Remove Duplicates function to remove duplicate data. Steps can be found on their website HERE.
