Beta feature: Sign In App Foresight is currently in beta and only available in Sign In App Portal 2.0, and Sign In Solutions VM.
Capabilities, availability, and behaviour may change before general release.
Overview
Sign In App Foresight is a new AI assistant built directly into Portal 2.0. It can answer questions about your account, build reports and insights on demand, and, with your approval, carry out tasks like configuring a site or creating an invite – all in everyday language, without digging through menus.
Foresight only works within the logged-in user's existing permissions and never acts on its own or on a schedule. It works in one of two approval modes:
In Ask me first mode, Foresight requests your approval before making each change.
In Approve routine actions automatically mode, once enabled, Foresight can complete a request without asking for approval on every individual step.
Either way, it only ever acts in response to a request you make at that moment!
Access and scope
Foresight is currently available in Sign In App's new portal experience (Portal 2.0) and Sign In Solutions visitor management.
Beta access is account-based. Anyone with a login to your account can use Foresight, and it always respects that person's existing permissions.
Join the beta
To join our beta, simply fill out this form, and we will be in touch!
Once the beta is activated for your account, to access Foresight, please firstly make sure you're in Sign In App's new portal experience https://account.signinapp.com/ and click the Foresight icon in the top right-hand corner of the portal:
The beta is scheduled to run through the end of September to early October 2026, and we may extend this based on the feedback we receive.
Current capabilities
Here's what you can use Foresight for today during the beta.
Ask questions in plain language
Ask about your visitors, sign-ins, sites, and account activity in everyday language instead of clicking through multiple screens to find the answer.
See who's on site
Ask who's expected or currently onsite using live sign-in data, without needing to open a separate report.
Build ad-hoc reports and insights
Request custom reports and pattern views across sign-ins, sites, and teams using natural language, and Foresight compiles them for you. For example, asking for a visit summary of the last 7 days:
Get help with setup and configuration
Ask Foresight to configure sites, visitor flows, and settings. Foresight prepares the change and executes it once you approve.
Take action with your approval
Ask Foresight to carry out a task, such as creating an invite or updating a setting. In Ask me first mode, Foresight proposes the change and waits for your approval before acting; in Approve routine actions automatically mode, once enabled, it can complete the task without asking for approval at every step.
Get in-product how-to help
Ask "how do I...?" and Foresight answers based on our support documentation, right where you're working.
Get compliance configuration guidance
In regulated environments, ask Foresight to review your setup against a standard (for example, ITAR or HIPAA) and suggest changes for your review. This is guidance only, not a certification or guarantee of compliance – your organization remains responsible for meeting its own requirements.
Also available via ad-hoc request during the beta: data hygiene checks (flagging duplicate or stale visitor records), visitor and host briefings, occupancy/resource forecasting, ID verification and watchlist summaries, and cross-site anomaly flags. These currently run as one-off requests rather than continuous, automatic monitoring.
What to know during the beta
Trust and control
Foresight never makes changes without your explicit approval – it doesn't act on its own or on a schedule.
It's additive: using it doesn't remove or change any existing feature or permission you already have.
Because AI-generated responses can occasionally be incomplete or incorrect, please review its answers and any proposed actions before relying on them.
Data privacy
A small group on our AI team may review beta session logs (questions asked and how Foresight responded) to identify and address issues. If a support ticket is created during a Foresight session, our support team may see that interaction to help resolve it.
Foresight only sees what the logged-in user's permissions already allow – it doesn't gain any new access to visitor data.
Beta data is used only to evaluate and improve Foresight. It is not shared outside Sign In Solutions and is not used to train other products.
Joining the beta does not change how your regular account data is stored or protected.
Cost
There's no cost to participate in the beta. Pricing and availability after the beta will be reviewed and shared based on usage, but will be available across all plans.
Good to know
Fully autonomous or scheduled actions aren't supported yet – Foresight only acts in response to a request you make at that moment.
Proactive alerts and continuous cross-site monitoring aren't available yet; related use cases (like anomaly detection) currently run as one-off, ad-hoc requests.
Compliance guidance is exactly that – guidance. Foresight does not certify or guarantee compliance with any regulation.
Feedback and support
We'll ask for your feedback through a short 1:1 conversation (about 20 minutes) or a brief survey – whichever is easier for you. If something isn't working as expected, please tell us: you can submit a ticket through Foresight chat or Intercom Contact. Response times are best-effort rather than a guaranteed SLA during this phase.
Participation is voluntary, and you can pause or stop at any time. Simply contact us, and we'll disable Foresight for your account.
