Highlights
This window continues our ongoing refinement of the synchronisation engine that underpins the Planner solution, so that every booking is processed and kept up to date correctly, wherever it is made or changed. Alongside that, we've made a number of smaller improvements across booking, administration and accessibility.
Features & Enhancements
Booking & Synchronisation
Outlook Meeting Details: When Planner updates an Outlook meeting, it now changes only its own room entries in the location, leaving the organiser's text, Teams details and other rooms unchanged. [PHO-498]
Room Pricing from Outlook: Exchange rooms booked directly in Outlook now carry the room's price from the start instead of 0, and existing unlocked bookings have been repriced. [PHO-459]
Edited Occurrences: An occurrence of a recurring meeting edited in Outlook now stays part of its series in Planner, keeping the series' cost centre, meeting type, comments, catering, equipment and rooms. [PHO-466]
Duplicate Add-in Bookings: When synchronisation creates a copy of an add-in booking before the add-in booking has linked, the copy is now merged into the original, keeping its rooms, catering and equipment and sending no cancellation email. [BAM-705]
Re-synchronisation: Re-synchronising a site now recovers users and rooms missing from calendar synchronisation and links meetings stuck at "Linking to Exchange". [BAM-656]
Recurring Occurrences: Recurring occurrences that Microsoft returns without complete details are no longer dropped and now synchronise as expected. [BAM-655]
Calendar Reset: Calendar Reset now covers the same date range as normal synchronisation. [PHO-455]
Message to Reception: The "Message to the reception" field is now hidden on sites connected to a SIA visitor system where it has no effect. [PHO-497]
Catering & Equipment
Catering on Moved Meetings: Catering on a meeting moved in Outlook now moves with the meeting if it is still inside its ordering deadline, while items past the deadline stay at the original time with their delivery fee instead of being deleted. [PHO-434]
Delivery Times: In the New Booking Experience, the catering delivery time list now offers only times that are available. [PHO-413]
Outlook Add-in
Note Length: The add-in now shows the 250-character limit on room, equipment, catering and location notes as you type, and explains the limit before saving. [PHO-467]
Email Notifications, Reporting & Insights
Recurring Booking Confirmation: The confirmation email for a recurring series is no longer lost, or replaced by one update email per occurrence, if Planner restarts while the series is being synchronised. [PHO-489]
Visitor Host Notifications: A host whose notification failed to deliver is no longer excluded from further notifications for the rest of the notification interval. [PHO-457]
Administrative & API
Change History: Booking change history now names the person who made each change instead of sometimes showing "System". [PHO-492]
Bookings List: Administration > Bookings now keeps your page, page size and sort after you save an edit. [PHO-506]
User Email Addresses: Editing a user now rejects an invalid or blank email address. [BAM-725]
UI/UX & Reporting
Skip to Main Content: Every Planner page now has a "Skip to main content" link and declares its language, so keyboard and screen-reader users can go straight to the content. [PHO-495]
Attendee Counters: The minus button on the internal and external attendee counters now works as expected in the New Booking Experience. [PHO-487]
Delivery Invoicing Messages: A dismissed error message in Delivery Invoicing no longer reappears when the mouse moves. [PHO-468]
All Day Pop-up: The all-day pop-up when editing a booking no longer shows an unnecessary icon and its toggle now fits. [PHO-482]
Edit Address Dialog: The Edit Address dialog no longer changes size when delivery options change. [PHO-485]
